For a large city like Hamilton our turbine objective is to maximize efficiency by reducing inertia. These wind turbines need to be strong enough to withstand strong gusts of wind, so they don’t need to be replaced so often and don’t need to be constantly monitored. If they are more durable, they last for longer making them more cost efficient because they don’t need to be replaced.
